Technics 1210 mk2s with stanton trackmaster 2s(with pennies!), vestax VMC-185XL mixer and technics RP-DJ 1210 headphones. really good standard equipment, (apart from ive only got one, absolutely ragged standard hi-fi speaker that has got a loose screw that rattles!). recording the mixes through logic on my mates mac. allsorts of DnB, from liquid to jump up to jungle to heavy RH shiz. oh and a tickle of dubstep! Im a drum n bass dj and have been mixing for about 4 years now. my philosophy as a dj is to keep busy and try to keep it as tight as i can. Would love some constructive criticism so give it a listen and i would really appreciate your opinion. happy listening....... biggest influences as a dnb dj were andy c, friction, zinc, marky & mampi swift.

Gemini PMX140 Gemini SA600 x2 PCDJ Don't have any vinyl at the moment, I used to have a drum and bass collection which sold years ago, I mix MP3's at moment I first learned to mix (self-taught) about 2001 and got better at it over the years. Not played any full sets in any public venue apart from dropping one tune in Yates (high street) in Poole, Dorset many, many years ago. I have done 4 private brithday parties with domestic gear but these were just one chart tune after another, not really beatmatching anything - well except for my brother-in-law's 30th - did an excellent late-night trance mix. My favourite genre is drum and bass and old skool early 90's rave, but also like tech house and some trance. Don't like Happy Hardcore much mmmmm....

Basic CD Decks VMX Mixer KAM DDX 700 Turntables Virtual DJ Sony Vaio Laptop, over 1000 mp3 trance/house tracks. over 500 dnb tracks Various hairbands for my dreads, a bottle of fake blood, all sorts of cables and wires, mobile charger, bottle of water, some tasty blonde hash, condoms, oh and my laptop of course! Im Marc, been heavily into trance since about 1995, got into dnb when i sqw Pendulum play a dj set at a tiny club here in stoke in 2004, fell deeply in love that night and have loved dnb ever since. Im a proud member of SND (Seeking New Directions) ;Productions. Ive got some basic cd decks and have just invested in some proper turntables but my vynal collection is rather small to say the least. I use ;virual dj to make my mixes and have no time ;for anyone who disses dj's who use the software. Its hard work learning the ins ;and outs of it, ive been using it for 2 years and ;still continue to learn and make better mixes with it. ; I like making mixes that combine mainstream ;tracks with ones that ;you may not of heard. I tend to make more trance/house mixes than dnb mixes these days but my ;first love is still dnb, no other music i know of can put a smile on my face like dnb, no matter how black my mood is if i throw a dnb banger on it will cheer me up! ; My dnb mixes are famous for being full of absolute bangers, classics all the way through, what sets me apart from the rest is i will not, now or ever, do a rewind, i cant be doing with ;rewinds! ; Please comment on the mix let me know what u think, even if you dont like it, i love getting feedback and constrctive critism only makes a man stronger and better. Can i just take this time to say thank you anyone who listens to one of ;my mixes, it means the world to me that you have taken the time to listen to what i have created! ;
